STE Solutions provided key expertise for a critical infrastructure project in South Australia’s mid-north – maintenance on the Morgan-Whyalla pipeline.
The team carried out the maintenance program on SA Water’s Morgan/ Whyalla # 3 pumping Station. This Pipeline services the towns of Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Pirie.
The project scope required the STE Solutions team – including electricians, trade assistants and a commissioner – to carry out maintenance on the station, including secondary Protection test of the relays, Circuit Breaker Maintenance & the replacement of oil on there station transformer. This was carried out while getting the pump station online every night for tank filling.
“The SA Water project was a great example of the capacity of STE Solutions to bring the right experience and people onto the job,” Managing Director Ben Schwarz said.
“The client was very pleased – and we have now looking into carrying out the protection maintenance and oil refurbishment on the remaining three pump stations on the pipeline.”
